Description
Postcard with an image of a dove on the front, with a plant in its mouth. Undernneath there is a barrel of a gun, with purple smoke coming out. The reverse inscription has a handwritten message from the sender. The reverse side also has a grey stamp, a hand written address, and information about where the postcard is from. The title of this postcard is "Peace" by Michael Chadwick. The dove has been a symbol of peace and innocence for thousands of years in many different cultures. In ancient Greek mythology it was a symbol of love and the renewal of life and in ancient Japan a dove carrying a sword symbolised the end of war. This is an anti-violence, pro-peace postcard.
