Make a campaign film!

This is your platform to let the world know about the issues that matter to young people today. Want to make and submit your own campaign film? Follow the simple instructions below to get involved.

Vital Voters @ People's History Museum

As part of the Vital Voters project, we are putting together a collection of campaign films made by young people about the issues that matter to them.  The best films will go live on People’s History Museum’s website as part of a gallery of Vital Voters campaigns.

It’s a great way to make the world pay attention to what matters to you.

What you need to do:

  • Use your smartphone or tablet to create a film no longer than three minutes in length
  • Click here to submit your film
  • Watch this two minute video for tips on making your film
  • Watch this short video tutorial (submitted by a young contributor) about how to make a stop motion animation using just a smartphone and free app

Staying safe online

  • If you are under 16 years old, you will need to ask a parent or guardian for permission to take part
  • Don’t give personal information in your film such as your school or contact details
  • Don’t use your full name in your film.  Use first names or nicknames only
  • If you don’t want to appear on camera, use other techniques such as animation or photo montage to create your film
  • If your film is shown on our website, you can ask us to take it down if you change your mind
