Event | Comic art workshop with the Rickard Sisters

Using their best selling graphic novel The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, as a backdrop the Rickard Sisters will share how they adapted Robert Tressell’s work into a visual format.  They will show how Tressell used visual storytelling, anecdote and comedy to get serious or complicated points across.

You will be guided to create your own short graphic story, learning about visual storytelling techniques.

• Create your own unique artwork to take home with you.
• No previous experience or skills required, this workshop is designed to be inclusive for all.
• All materials will be provided.
