Description
Yellow circular badge with "REVERSE GILLICK" in large letters, and "Under 16s are People, not Property" in smaller text. The badge refers to the 1985 campaign to allow doctors to prescribe contraceptives to under-16 when certain criteria are met, when the children have the ability to consent to their own medical treatment. The previous year in 1983-4, Victoria Gillick had successfully campaigned to the High Court to ban under-16s receiving contraceptives.
