Christmas Card from the Working Class Movement Library containing a poem starting from the front and continuing into the middle. Poem reads : "In the sweet days of yore, when divinity rode
On His mission of Love, an ass He bestode. (On front)
In the sweet days of yore, when divinity rode
On His Mission of Love, an ass He bestrode. (Inside left)
But woe for the change! It now takes, alas,
Two men and two horses to carry an ass." (Inside right)

Stuck on the inside cover is a copy of the front printed on a piece of card made from the same material as the rest of the card. The image on the front and inside front cover is of a man on a donkey. On the inside back cover is a picture of a man in a drawn horse and carriage. At the bottom of inside front cover printed "A hand painted cartoon taken from the 'Satires of Cynicus' published in 1893 and part of the wcml collection." On the inside back cover is printed "The Trustees and Staff of the Working Class Movement Library Thank you for all your support over the past year." On the back cover is printed "The Working Class Movement Library, 51 The Crescent, Salford M5 4WX. 0161 736 3601. www.wcml.org.uk
