This banner was used on various anti-austerity demonstrations by Queer Resistance North West between 2008 and 2012, including a UK Uncut demonstration in Manchester in 2011.


Queer Resistance is an LGBTQIA+ collective that formed to protest against government cuts to public services and the welfare state, which increased following the 2008 recession and continued under the Coalition and Conservative government's austerity programme.
