The poster says"HEUSINGER was Hitler's Chief of Operations. He is now Chairman of NATO's Military Committee, the main planning committee in Washington." "SPEIDEL commanded Nazi troops in France and Russia. Now Commander of Nato's Central European Land Forces, including British troops. 43% of his command are West German troops." "233 WEST GERMAN OFFICERS, including 18 generals, hold important NATO positions. All served Hitler." "THE GERMAN GENERAL STAFF plans a war of revenge and intends NATO to serve its aims of conquering Europe, East and West." The bottom of the poster has publishing information in smaller white
text - "A Communist Party poster, 16 King Street, London, W.C/". This poster is stating that supporters of Hitler and West German generals are taking control of NATO, to help aid their revenge plans, and to take over the world. This poster comes across as a warning. The poster is slightly creased and is in good condition. This is a Cold War era poster - the cold war was an ongoing political, social and military rivalry between the United States and the Soviet Union and their allies that developed after World War Two. This state of political hostility between countries, namely the Soviet Bloc countries and the Western powers, were characterised by threats, military threats, propaganda and other measures short of warfare. The official dates of the Cold War are from 1945-1990, but this has been disputed.
