The poster shows a Seaman standing in front of a steam ship, with the poster reading 'What a British seaman said - "Give us the food and we will take it - and the risk too!"

While the poster is undated, it is likely from the 1930s when the Cmmunist Party were instrumental in helping to send aid to Republican Spain, including food parcels.
