Title
The Man Who Is Able To Produce Plenty

Description
Hand painted poster, from the Communist Party of Great Britain collection, around 1930s

This hand-drawn and painted poster shows a man in suit and flatcap standing in front of a bridge. The poster reads "The man who [is] able to produce plenty BUT he is unemployed and there are 2,000,000 like him in Britain today". This poster was made to highlight high levels of unemployment in the country during the 1930s.

One of a series of hand-made posters from the CPGB collection in the same style.
