This placard was used to protest against the design of the Manchester Peterloo Memorial in 2019. The memorial, which is a set of steps and was designed in 2018, is inaccessible to people in wheelchairs or with mobility issues. The protesters called for a change to the design to ensure equal access to the memorial, but were unsuccessful. A second, 'accessible' memorial was created nearby.
