Description
A large button badge produced by Sea Shepherd.
Sea Shepherd were establised in 1977 as a marine conservation organisation. They use direct action tactics to protect ocean wildlife, such as blocking commercial fishing boats so that they can't poach. One major campaign was to prevent commercial whaling across the globe, which is still running today.
This badge features a drawing of a whale jumping out from a wave. The drawing is in black and surrounding it are the words "Sea shepherd saves whales", also in black. On the back of the badge a rubber ring surrounds the plastic backing. The badge has a metal back with a pin fastening.
