Description
An illustration of two socialists in red caps and a trade unionist in a white cap. The socialist in front of the trade unionist is distracting him with a poster of socialist beliefs and demands, while the other socialist picks the trade unionist's pockets, stealing trade union funds.

In this Conservative Party election poster, villainous socialist agitators are hypnotising the working man whilst picking his pockets of trade union funds. The Labour Party, who use the red colouring the socialists in the cartoon are wearing, was brand new at the time, and Conservatives were attempting to put voters off supporting them by implying that the Labour Party were going to cost them money and line their own pockets while promising the working classes things that were unachievable.
