Fabric placard/banner, "Safety is a Right Not A Privilege", ink on cloth with two wooden poles.
This banner was carried in the Manchester 'Kill the Bill' protest against elements in the Police and Crime Bill in March 2021. The Bill proposed limits to protest, including limits on noise levels, as well as introducing trespass as a criminal matter (previously, trespass has always been a civil issue and so does not result in a criminal record).
