Made between 1978-1979, this poster urges people to protest the freeze in wages brought on by James Callaghan government's attempt to reduce inflation. This period is referred to as the Winter of Discontent due to the outpour of union activity in response to the slashing of public funds and cuts to public services, exacerbated by the coldest Winter Britain had experienced for years.
