White poster with pink and green text advertising the publication of activist Jack Woddis' book, 'Time to Change Course: What Britain's Communists Stand For", 1973. Jack Woddis worked for the International Federation of Trade Unions throughout the 1950's, was heavily involved in anti-colonialism activism, and was elected tot he executive committee of the British Communist Party in the early 1970's. He was an author and published many books on international issues. This poster advertises one of his books, "Time to change course", an exploration of the British Communist Party. The book was priced at 30p at the time of its release and was heavily promoted by the Communist Party. This poster asks "Have you read this important book?" in large pink text at the top of the page. Beneath is an illustration of the book, surrounded by a synopsis in green text: "Where is it all going to end? Read the Communist Party's view of Britain's Crisis, the need for Socialist revolution, how to get it, and the next steps to take." Underneath, again in pink text, reads "On sale here" This poster was published by the Communist Party and printed by Farleig Press. Condition: good
