Description
Red and white poster. White background, with red text saying "Communist Party meeting, oppose Tory onslaught - Fight back now." There is a red box underneath with illustrations of different people, with speech bubbles with varying statements. Some of these statements say "Women's rights", "defend the unions", "no cruise", "higher pensions", "better schools", "jobs for all", "end low pay", "stop the policing bill and "Thatcher out." At the bottom of the poster it says "All welcome. Organised by p&p, CPGB 16 St John Street, London EC1M4AY." This poster is anti-conservative party, calling for a meeting in opposition to tory policies. This would have been made in 1979 or onwards due to references to Thatcher. At the bottom it says it was published by the CPGB and lists the address.
