'Use Your Head, Support Your Own Team and Vote Labour' was created for the Labour Party by JM Pollock in 1922. This poster built on the popularity of football among the working class. It suggested working class voters choose a party serving their interests. This election saw a rise in the Labour vote and in January 1924 it formed its first government.
