Description
Four Images printed out onto an A4 piece of paper. The top image is a drawing of a hand with scissors cutting string/"ties" between a Union Jack flag and the EU flag. There is white text next to this saying "Break all ties with the EU. That's what 17.4 million voted for anything less is a betrayal. So deliver what we voted for Brexit 100%." The second image looks like a drawing or photo of a poster - this has a dark blue background with a yellow circle in the mide - surrounding this in yellow text, it says "The European Union is Not about Freedom, it's about the enslavement of nations and peoples." The third image is a
screenshot from twitter - it is a screenshot of someone's tweet which says "The working class are not capable of making important decisions. That's why they are 'working class' instead of leaders and professionals. The final imge is white and green, with red text saying "Free Britain."

The EU referendum took place in June 2016, to decide whether Britain should remain part of the European Union. The two largest campaigns were those who wanted to leave the EU, and those who wanted to remain in the EU. This placard is supporting the leave campaign, stating that they'd rather "die a rebel, than a slave to the EU." The referendum result ended up with the U.K leaving the EU, with a 51.9% vote in favour of leaving. Several high profile politicans supported the leave campaign, such as Conservative Party Eurosceptics Michael Gove and Boris Johnson and previous UKIP leader Nigel Farage. Some of the leave campaign's main points and arguments were taking back sovereignty, anti-immigration, and the promose for economic strength and more money for the NHS. Voting in favour of Brexit was seen as an anti-establishment vote by some.
