Large black text reads "NEWS FROM SPAIN / See this talking film and hear/ LANGDON-DAVIES/ Friday, 7th May, 8p.m./ CENTRAL LIBRARY HALL/ TOTTENHAM - admission 6d" This poster was made around the time of the Spanish Civil War and 'Langdon Davies' refers to John Eric Langdon-Davies, British author who acted as war correspondent during the Spanish Civil War and later set up the Foster Parents Scheme for refugee children in Spain.
