A large poster with a black and white background of five people smiling at each other. White text in the centre of the poster reads "The communists in your neighbourhood, your factory, your office, your village are preparing their 22nd congress. In the cells they reflect together, they discuss, they vote, they elect responsible women and men. The communists undertake to fight with you, for life, for freedom, democracy, for the union of the people of France, so that life is good, for everyone." (translated from French). The bottom of the poster reads, in orange, "We communists at our congress, a democratic path to socialism. Socialism for France." This poster was printed by the Paris Province Impression and produced by the French Communist Party to promote their 22nd congress which took place in February 1976.
