Description
This poster is part of a collection of 100 posters designed by Ettore Vitale for the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) between 1973 and 1991. The posters promote a range of events and campaigns using the colours of the Italian flag- red, white, and green, along with motifs of roses, rainbows, and stars. This poster is white with a large yellow star on it. Black text reads: " Il partito socialista per le forze armate" (English: The socialist party for the armed forces), an exhibit that was put on in Rome on the 28th November 1989. The event featured speakers such as Salvo Ando, Laura Sturlese, Franco de Carli, and Benito Pavoni. The PSI logo is featured in the bottom left corner and the italian flag is in one of the points of the star. The poster was produced by the women's department and the youth department of the PSI.
