Description
A leaflet produced and distributed by Fairford Peace Camp, a group established in 2003 to protest US nuclear missiles being stored at the base and calling for a general rethink in the UK's defence policies. This camp was also part of the Stop The War coalition protesting the UK's involvement in the Iraq War.

The front of the leaflet shows an illustration of a fence with barbed wire and a sign giving details of the latest nuclear weapons being stored inside. Black text at the top reads: "FOR WAR OR PEACE?" whilst text at the bottom reads: "A statement from Fairford Peace Camp"

Inside information is given about the group and their aims with headings as follows: "Who are we? / Why fairford? / How we view defence / What governments have done / What the peace camp will do"

The back of the leaflet shows an image of Earth surrounded by darkness. White text reads: "We do not inherit the world from our forefathers we borrow it from our children" Underneath is information about where to send donations for the Peace Camp.
