Description
This portfolio collection is 1/4 of a larger collection of fifty posters produced for the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) from 1892 to 1970. This part consists of 14 posters produced for the PSI between 1892 and 1916. This poster features an illustration of a woman holding a garland from which a white ribbon trails. She is dressed in red and carrying a red flag. White text at the top reads "Italian Socialist Party" whilst text at the bottom reads "ID Badge 1907" It is likely that this was originally used as ID for the PSI in 1907 and has been enlarged to poster size when reproduced for the 50 poster collection in 1970.
