This portfolio collection is 1/4 of a larger collection of fifty posters produced for the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) from 1892 to 1970. This part consists of 14 posters produced for the PSI between 1892 and 1916. This poster features an illustration of a woman gesturing to a painting of women marching with red flags. A border of lilies and leave surround the image, with the text "1st May" towards the top of the poster. Text towards the bottom reads: "Workers of the world unite! - Karl Marx" This poster was originally produced for May Day 1916 but has been reproduced for the 50 poster PSI collection in 1970.
