This portfolio collection is 1/4 of a larger collection of fifty posters produced for the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) from 1892 to 1970. This part consists of 12 posters produced for the PSI between 1946 and 1970. This poster features an illustration of a group of men rallying in the streets with flags. Red text at the top reads: "Socialism continues the popular push of the Risorgimento. / You too participate in the socialist battle" Risorgimnento was a 19th-century movement for Italian unification that culminated in the establishment of the Kingdom of Italy in 1861. This poster, made to celebrate the 100 year anniversary, was originally produced in 1960 and has been reproduced for this portfolio.
