Description
This portfolio collection is 1/4 of a larger collection of fifty posters produced for the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) from 1892 to 1970. This part consists of 12 posters produced for the PSI between 1917 and 1945. This poster features an illustration of a man standing on another man's head- possibly a representation of Mussolini, as text atthe top reads "The bestial fascism deafeated!" and the poster was originally produced around 1943, when Mussolini fell from power. Red text at the bottom of the poster reads "Italian socialist party of proletarian unity" (all text translated from Italian) This poster was reproduced in 1970 as part of the 50 poster collection of the PSI.
