This portfolio collection is 1/4 of a larger collection of fifty posters produced for the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) from 1892 to 1970. This part consists of 12 posters produced for the PSI between 1917 and 1945. This poster features an illustration of a hand holding a burning torch through a window. Words within the flame of the torch read "Post Fata Resurgo" which is a Latin proverb meaning " I return to life after misfortune" Red text at the top of the poster reads "Italian Socialist Party". This poster was originally made in the late 1920's/early 1930's but was reproduced for this collection in 1970.
