Black text reads: "The money required to provide adequate food, water, education, health and housing for everyone in the world has been estimated at $17 billion a year. It is a huge sum of money... about as much as the world spends on arms every two weeks."
The back of the postcard reads: "The design overleaf first appeared in New Internationalist before being reprinted as a poster by the Campaign Against the Arms Trade / The Campaign Against the Arms Trade is a coalition of peace and internationalist groups working for an end to Britain's involvement in the arms trade, and for the conversion of military industry to peaceful production." The postcard was published by Leeds Postcards in 1976.
