Description
A yellow postcard featuring a plough dragging a large piece of military equipment as a way to prepare the soil for harvest. The piece is called "Swords and ploughshares" by Crhis Madden, referring to the concept wherein military weapons or technologies are converted for peaceful civilian applications. The back of the postcard reads: "Peace News / We believe that opposition to war, oppression, and ecological destruction is not enough- if we are to achieve a peaceful society we must also engage in the construvtion of viable social alternatives / Peace News / Fortnightly paper from goos bookshops or by postal subscription."
