Description
Spanish Poster, likely a satirical advert. The poster is titled "Vuelven Gardel y sus Amigos" which translates to "They return Gardel and his Friends" - likely referring to Carlos Gardel, a famous Tango singer, who died in 1935. Beneath this are drawings of six men - Gardel in the centre, along with Che Guevara, and four others (as yet unidentified). Underneath reads "A Beneficio Del Tony Caluga" which translates to "A Benefit of Tony Caluga" who was a Chilean clown and comedic actor.
In the bottom right reads "Advertencia El Tango Es UNa Musica Machista Que Puede Danar Seriamente Sentimientos Feministas" which translates to "Warning Tango is a Macho Music that can seriously damage feminist feelings". It is currently unknown whether this is satirical.
