The Festival for Latin America was held on numerous occassions to raise funds and awareness for various international solidarity campaigns. The festival was produced by the Chile Solidarity Campaign in conjunction with the Chile Cultural Centre and Victor Jara Committee. Artists starring in the festival included: Pete Seeger, Illapu, Noel Nicola, and Capri. Illapu were Andean, Noel Nicola was Cuban, and Capri Chilean.
