Description
Poster, hand written with an image at the top of military generals in front of a sign saying Chile. The poster says "Special Concert Tonight Tickets £1" The concert featured artists from Chile and Portugal and was produced by the Chile Solidarity Campaign Cultural Committee and Portugese Workers Coordinating Committee. The poster also features a drawn map from the location of its posting (the TUC building near Gower Street) to the location of the concert in Conway Hall.
Artists at the concert included: Particio Manns, a Chilean singer and composer; Jose Afonso, a Portugese singer; Vitorino, a Portugese singer; Jose Luis Inglesias; Jack Warshaw, an American folk singer; and Sandra Kerr, an English folk singer.
