Description
A white poppy, with a green sticker in the centre reading "Peace". The poppy is made from a fairly thick crepe paper and features eight petals. It was created by the Peace Pledge Union as an alternative to the red poppy, worn in Britain around Rememberance Sunday. The white poppy has simultaneous meanings of remembering all those who have died due to war - including civilians - and to campaign against war in general
