This is a large blue, red and white banner that reads 'Trumpets against Trump.'
Trumpets Against Trump was a band made up entirely of trumpet players who gathered to play discordant droning sounds whenever US President Donald Trump visited the UK while in office (2016-2020). Their protest performances occur was used in protest against the state visit by Trump to the UK in July 2018 and June 2019. Trumpets Against Trump participated in a 250,000 strong mass protest on 13 July 2018 comprised of protestors against Trump's political views on immigration, Muslims, womenâs rights and LGBTQIA+ equality. The rally was held in central London. The group disbanded on 7 November 2020, the day after Trump lost the 2020 US Presidential election.
