Fold out leaflet for NCCL 1984. The National Council for Civil Liberties (NCCL) was founded in 1934 as an independent membership organisation to campaign against injustice and defend freedom in the UK. The leaflet describes the 'Liberty Campaign' to "address Britain's drift into a 'law and order' society and struggle for protection from arbitrary arrest and unnecessary detention." Organisations such as trade union could affilitate to NCCL. Over 1000 organisations were affiliated by 1984.
