Description
A white Christmas card with the CND symbol in the centre. The blank spaces of the CND symbol have been coloured in red. There are yellow sunbeams extending from the symbol, and behind it are dozens of stars coloured in green or orange.

The card was made by Durham Woodcraft Folk, raising money for Peace Action, an international grassroots peace campaign group who advocate for an end to the creation and use of lethal weapons, including nuclear weapons. Woodcraft Folk is a UK wide youth education organisation founded in 1925 as an alternative to the pro-military Scouting and Girl Guide movements. Woodcraft Folk is oriented around giving young people the skills to build a more peaceful world. This card was made by the Durham branch, likely by one of the young people involved in the group.
