Newspaper article about the resignation of Philip Connolly, an active member Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and a donor of many related objects to the museum’s collection. Connolly quit as a laboratory worker when he found that the company had been acquired by Tarmac, who built Cruise missile shelters at RAF Greenham Common. Multiple military bases were used by the UK and US militaries for housing cruise nuclear missiles during the 1980s.
