Description
Flyer titled "Help us stop Trident nuclear missiles", with an illustration of the tower of a nuclear submarine surfacing through red water. The bottom third of the flyer is a pre-printed form to affiliate your organisation to the Anti-Trident Campaign.
Trident is the UKâs nuclear weapons programme with the stated purpose of a deterrent, according to the Ministry of Defence. It was established in 1980 and now operates out of a Royal navy base in Clyde on the west coast of Scotland. Anti-nuclear and peace activists have continually protested against Trident since its inception.
