Printed leaflet with text "RECLAIM THE HILLS! CND NATIONAL ACTION MASS TRESPASS COULPORT - OCT 4 SAY NO! TO TRIDENT".

Royal Naval Armaments Depot Coulport (RNAD Coulport) in Argyll, Scotland, is the storage and loading facility for the Trident nuclear warheads. Trident is the UK’s nuclear weapons programme with the stated purpose of a deterrent, according to the Ministry of Defence. It was established in 1980. Anti-nuclear and peace activists have continually protested against Trident since its inception. Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) is an organisation that campaigns for peace and for governments around the world to demilitarise and discard existing and new nuclear weapons programmes.
