Postcard showing a map of the Earth with Pacific in the middle, Australia and Asia on the left, the Americas on the right. The islands of the Pacific are labelled with a key showing nuclear explosions, airbases, naval bases and more. Text reads "Nuclear Colonialism in the Pacific". Design by Melanie Earle.

The Nuclear Free and Independent Pacific movement is led by indigenous people across the islands working together to decolonise the region, to gain independence and remove foreign (often British, American and French) control and military bases from their lands. A solidarity movement supported the campaign from the UK with support groups forming in multiple towns and cities, growing in awareness from the 1970s and 80s.
