Printed leaflet headed with "April 1986 - US bombs Libya from British bases / April 1987 - Demonstrations at Upper Heyford". The leaflet is was produced by the Campaign for Independence from America (CIA) and describes that they, in partnership with the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) are organising a demonstration at RAF Upper Heyford, an airforce base outside of Oxford operated by a wing of the US airforce, in protest of bombings of Libya conducted out of the airbase. It advertises a march at Upper Heyford and a march and rally is Oxford on April 11th, and direct action at Upper Heyford on April 15th.


Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) is an organisation that campaigns for peace and for governments around the world to demilitarise and discard existing and new nuclear weapons programmes.
