Description
Round light blue badge, "Fight McLibel Censorship" in black, with the McDonalds logo M in the centre. This badge refers to the McLibel case, in which two Greenpeace archivists 'the McLibel Two' were accused of libel by McDonalds, for distributing a factsheet critical of McDonalds' environmental impact. It was the longest-running libel case at the time at 10 years, and the activists were pro bono supported by Keir Starmer.
