Description
Round light green badge, "Staffa Stays" in large, bold text in the centre. "Support the Occupation" curves around the edge in black as well. The badge was produced to support the Staffa workers' strike in Leyton, East London in 1981. The company planned to move the motor plant to Plymouth where labour costs and union strength would be reduced. Workers were represented by two unions, Amalgamated Union of Engineering Workers (AUEW) and Association of Scientific, Technical and Managerial Staffs (ASTMS).
