Description
Round white badge, "Free All South African Political Prisoners" in black around the top edge. In the centre is a photograph of Elias Motsoaledi, with text either side "Free Elias Motsoaledi". At the bottom is "ANC", referring to the African National Congress political party. Motsoaledi was one of the eleven anti-apartheid activists arrested and imprisoned in 1963, alongside Nelson Mandela. He was released after 26 years in 1989, after which he was elected to the National Executive Committee of the ANC.
