Description
A square metal badge depicting five figures around which text reads "TOLPUDDLE 1834-1984 / REPEAL ANTI-UNION LAWS". This was a badge made to commemorate the 150 year anniversary of the Tolpuddle Martyrs and to connect the historic battle for trade union rights to contemporary struggles such as the Miners' Strike and anti-union legislation imposed by the governments of Edward Heath and Margaret Thatcher.
