Black and white A3 poster with the words 'BRITISH JUSTICE DERRY 72' printed over an image of a bleeding coffin.

Bloody Sunday was a massacre on 30 January 1972 when British soldiers shot 26 unarmed civilians during a protest march in the Bogside area of Derry, Northern Ireland. The march had been organised by the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association to protest against interment without trial. Thirteen men were killed outright and another died four months later due to his injuries. Many victims were shot whilst trying to flee, or whilst trying to help the injured. Other protesters were injured by shrapnel, rubber bullets or batons, or were run down by British Army vehicles.
