Description
3D printed marionette puppet of Boris Johnson. The puppet has been painted to look like Johnson, and has blonde hair. Wearing a dark suit with a white shirt and white pocket square. The puppet's strings are attached at the ears, wrists and knees, leading up to a wooden control bar.
Used during the 2019 Conservative Party leadership election, when Boris Johnson and Jeremy Hunt were the two final leadership candidates. Best for Britain commissioned the creation of Nigel Farage's head and fully working marionette puppets of the two candidates, to demonstrate that Farage was controlling the national debate around Brexit. The papier mache head was worn by a performer on stilts, who was also wearing a tweed coat and Brexit Party rosette. Worn on 23.07.2019
