Description
Sash for the Amalgamated Stevedore Labour Protection League, General Secretary. A green sash with metallic detailing. Coiled metallic thread embroidery begins 260mm from the top folded edge with text reading âA.S.L.P.L. // Generalâ with a design of two feathers tied together and crossed over one another, âSecretary,â and a design of two hands clasped together with black threads used to create the outlines of the fingers. At the bottom, there is a 110mm area of metallic fringe (70mm long) attached to the right edge of the sash.
