Circular metal pin badge. Inside a white border reads "FRIENDS WAR VICTIMS RELIEF". In the centre are two overlaid four-pointed stars in blue and red, with gold borders.

The Friends refers to the Quakers, who in 1936 founded the Friends' War Victims' Relief Committee to aid the women and children who were internally displaced by the Civil War in Spain. Between the American and British Friends, they established an area of about 200 miles along the coast from Alicante to Murcia, and about 45 miles inland, which became known as the 'American Quaker Sector', where they fed and cared for refugees.
