The Country Standard is a rural journal, published intermittently since 1936. The Communist Party of Great Britain dominated its content. It is still produced annually online, by an editorial collective of Communist and Labour Party members, environmentalists, and trade unionists.
This banner was made by campaigner Phyllis Hood, who attended the Royal School of Needlework
